Who is NuLake Ltd? NuLake Ltd is a New Zealand owned private publishing company that specialises in quality New Zealand mathematics books for upper primary and secondary school pupils. Book production is done locally, assisted by several contractors, editors and proofreaders. All marketing, sales and accounts are in-house, with dispatch from our warehouse in Wanganui, New Zealand.
What books does NuLake sell? NuLake Ltd sells Mathematics Workbooks for Years 11 to 13 and Mathematics Homework Books for Year 8 to Year 12 as well as Zeta Books best selling Early Numeracy and Literacy titles. All our titles are available online under the link NULAKE BOOKS available via the home page. In addition we are the New Zealand distributor for Texas Instruments Calculators.
Where can I find NuLake books? All titles are sold directly to schools, are available in all good bookshops and are sold directly to students and parents by mail order and through this website.
What are NuLake Workbooks and Homework Books? NuLake Workbooks are A4 in size and of approximately 400 pages. They cover Year 11, 12 and 13 Mathematics at NCEA 1, 2 and 3. They are New Zealand's most up to date mathematics series for NCEA, being revised and modified as soon as changes are made to the NCEA curriculum. The editions cover all Achievement Standards (including those internally assessed). At the end of each chapter an original practice achievement standard is included.
NuLake Homework Books are A4 in size and of approximately 150 pages. They are designed to cover the New Zealand curriculum for the applicable year by providing worked examples (Year 8 to Year 10) as well as straightforward reinforcement problems. One page is allocated per concept and in addition application and practical problems are also included.
